How would you feel if you experienced what panchito experienced?
I don't know how I would feel. Panchito has many emotions coming through him, but his biggest one would be fear. I don't know how Panchito can live or keep on going with all the bad things happening to you. In my opinion, if I experienced what he did, I would feel like my Parents don't like me for leaving me behind. Aside that, I wouldn't be able to easily talk to anyone in school or out of school in the experience. It would make me feel bad and depressed as if nobody liked me or wanted to talk to me.
Why do you think that Peggy and her family are ignoring and avoiding Panchito at all costs?
I think the main reason why Peggy's family is avoiding and ignoring Panchito is because they are racist and stereotype. At first they thought he was Spanish because of his light skin and it was okay to the family. After he said he was Mexican, the family started feeling weird around him and really uneasy. It is most likely that Peggy is told by her parents to ignore Panchito.

Does religion/spirituality help or hurt people in poverty?
It helps because some people such as Panchito and his family are really religious. This could help them because they can pray to god asking him to give them energy to work or too finish their work fast. Due to this, the family believes they can do this, so their main objective turns into them doing everything they prayed to god for. It can also help because they can have someone to believe them or believe in a savior that can save their family. It can also hurt because some people rely only on religion and they can pray to god for something and instead of them doing it, they could wait for god to do it for them and they start believing god will help them but it probably wouldn't or it would take to much time for this to happen.
Roberto and Panchito work 7 days a week, go to school, and study on saturday nights. Do you think today's generation of teenagers have the same work/family ethic values?
Some teenagers could be working on the fields even today. The reason is that, some families can be going through some sort of struggle, they can have money problems, land problems, etc. However, some teenager families have a struggle with money, this struggle most likely forces the teenagers to be able to support their own family by either getting a job and dropping out of high school, or (as Roberto and Panchito are going through) work on the field but still go to school. Panchito and Roberto's situation is very grave to the them working 7 days a week at the fields and that they have to study on saturday, NO REST! :O
how do you think it would feel to be in papa's shoes? Not being able to work and support your family with money. how would it feel?
It would make me feel all guilty-like because I don't want people to pity me. That will have my family working a lot more instead of me. And I am the father of the family. I would feel really guilty for not being able to support my family with money from me working. - Vin
Put yourself in the shoes of a farm worker youth. Imagine working 14 hours in harsh conditions. What would be the hardest thing about this life for you?
Having to see yourself suffer and barely gain anything by just plain working in the fields. Eventually, this type of work can kill you or even affect your entire life!
One of the kid farm workers says," after all the work is over, nobody remembers the people." Do you argue with this statement? Do these videos change the way you think about fruits and vegetables? Explain.
Now I actually think as fruits and vegetables as the product of a poor man/woman's life's. They're paid poorly and can barely make ends meet. The child talks about nobody remembering the people, I agree with this. They're just workers to other people, and most people won't pay any attention at all to them. They're just forgotten.
